Award-winning sustainability

Our approach has already earned us recognition, for example the Global Transition Award and the German Sustainability Award Design. These prizes strengthen our desire to continue our climate journey and work together to further develop sustainability at La Biosthétique.

At La Biosthétique, the idea of sustainability is not so much a trend as a lived tradition. These efforts in terms of sustainability, climate and environmental protection have now been rewarded with two major awards, received by Isabelle Weiser and Dr. Christian Ader.

"We are very pleased about these two important successes and feel confirmed in our actions. At the same time, we would like to thank our salon partners, whose commitment has enabled us to offset more than 19 million kilograms of CO2. Climate protection is only possible together and we hope to generate even more climate-neutral salons through the two awards in order to achieve our goal by 2030 and to be able to reduce our emissions by a further 20%."

The German Sustainability Award 2023 - Europe's largest award for ecological and social commitment - has been presented since 2008 by the Stiftung Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis e.V. (German Sustainability Award Foundation) in cooperation with the German government and other sponsors from leading associations and business organizations.

A prerequisite for nomination is to demonstrate impressively that as a company it acts in a socially as well as ecologically responsible manner.

No less significant is the Global Transition Award 2022, presented by the German daily newspaper Handelsblatt. With our objective to minimize the indirect emissions of our supply chain as well as the inclusion of our partner salons as certified climate-neutral hair salons, we convinced the jury. La Biosthétique is demonstrably* on track to meet the 1.5 degree target of the Paris Climate Agreement.
