Berlin, 8 November 2018. The Komische Oper Berlin probably hasn't seen this many dinner jackets and evening gowns in quite some time. "GQ" invited people to Berlin for the "Men of the Year" Awards. For the 20th time running, the magazine held the "Men of the Year" awards. The organisers, Condé Nast Germany boss Moritz von Laffert, GQ Editor-in-Chief Tom Junkersdorf and GQ publisher André Pollmann, really made a lot of effort to pamper the evening's 850 international guests with Hollywood glamour. At the stylish gala the popular "GQ Awards" were presented in 10 categories to national and international stars from the show, music and fashion industries, as well as sports and culture.
GQ brought a whole lot of Hollywood charm to Berlin: Patrick Dempsey received the reward in the "TV International" category, Orlando Bloom ("Style") received an award as an actor and fashion icon, US music star Jason Derulo received the "GQ Award" for "Music International" and actor Henry Cavill has now been dubbed not only Superman, but also "GQ Man of the Year 2018" ("Movie International"). It was probably the best guest list in Berlin. The legendary GQ Awards. And La Biosthétique had the honour of styling the GQ winners and guests, and presenting the new Homme range specially for men's hair and skin needs.
Before they graced the red carpet, actors, influencers and models met in the manufactory of gentlemen's culture, "Gentlemen's Circle", on Bebelplatz in Berlin-Mitte, which was created by La Biosthétique brand ambassador and salon boss André Goerner. Robert Seeliger (actor) , Nik Xhelilaj (actor), Peter Soubbotnik (influencer and model), Vincent von Thien (influencer and model) and GQ influencer Ben Dahlhaus enjoyed the hairstyling with the new Homme range. The eight-product high-tech care range, which easily, efficiently and effectively assists men of all ages in their daily beauty routine, was also the highlight when leaving the opera: every GQ guest received an exclusive La Biosthétique Homme goody bag.
